One thing I discovered about some foods is that they do not run your blood sugar up in addition to not making you gain weight. Nuts are high on that list. Everyone is different so I don't like to say it is true for everyone; but, the less processed food is, the easier it is on my diabetes.Ann Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17759967601352382204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1511550796165869351.post-57264937502959906972015-04-16T18:58:00.167-04:002015-04-16T18:58:00.167-04:00I love both, but I eat more peanuts in the form of...I love both, but I eat more peanuts in the form of peanut butter.Ann Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17759967601352382204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1511550796165869351.post-43259781965975230592015-04-16T18:57:06.855-04:002015-04-16T18:57:06.855-04:00A lot of roadside boiled peanuts have sat in the b...A lot of roadside boiled peanuts have sat in the brine too long and taste like the hull and a lot of salt. The secret to good boiled peanuts is to cook them on low in salty water and allow them to soak in the brine on low until the nuts acquire some salt. Then pour off the brine and rinse the nuts. Like everything, they are best fresh but taste pretty good from the refrigerator or freezer. <br />Ann Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17759967601352382204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1511550796165869351.post-92209536120852905832015-04-16T13:25:27.980-04:002015-04-16T13:25:27.980-04:00I love pecans and peanuts.
