Rural Church east of Vienna, Georgia on Highway 41. A storm had occurred shortly before these photos were taken and you can see some storm damage.

ReplyDeleteThis is a good idea. Churches can be very interesting sites.
DeleteThat's a small little church. Not a ton of storm damage at least
ReplyDeleteThe rust on the roof and peeling paint on an old building is not unusual. The skirt around the crawlspace and limbs on the ground are unusual for country churches. They are usually meticulous about keeping the grounds clean.
DeleteA bow-window, how interesting. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteIntriguing; but for the graves, it could be a private house. Lovely anyway.
ReplyDeleteThis is an unusual little church, I thought for a start it was a house with that bow window. I like the little graveyard at the side as well.

Those little country churches are so pretty. There's probably so much history there, births, deaths and weddings.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteThere's a sense of atmospheric solitude in those photos. Churches do make for interesting photo subjects. Nicely done and the church seems none the worse for wear.
Gary
What a cute little church!
