Being a Big Bad Biker

This big brute of a biker walks into a bar. To let everyone know he has come to create a little trouble and to stay out of his way. He walks up to this skinny man with his drink cupped between both hands. He slaps him on the back to break him from his reverie of staring into his water. The biker lifts the water and drinks it and gives a wry face.
The guy lets out a wail that would wake the dead. The biker feels awkward. He's bad. Just not that bad. Even bad guys sometimes have feelings. He says, "Mate, I didn't slap you that hard.and that water had an off taste."
I know, I know sobs the man. It's just that I was fired from work today for being late, I was carjacked when I stopped at a light. My wallet and ID was in the car. I had to walk seven miles home.
I come in my home exhausted and I hear my wife talking to someone. She and my soon to be ex-best friend were in the sack together. So I come here getting my courage up to drink a glass of poison. And you take it away from me and drink it first.

I rewrote this story but I lifted gist of the story from  a joke on Inspire21.com.

  1. I'll have to remember this guy when I'm having a bad day, because his day as you described it was definitely worse than most of my "bad" days.

    1. It's hard to remember things can be worse when you are having a bad day, eh?

    1. Funny as long as it's not true. Would make a funny prank on a tough guy.

    1. That would be my luck too. Best not to be too cocky. It can backfire. lol

  6. Oh jeez. I actually chuckled ;-) Not that I don't understand the gravity - just that some ironies are true zingers, aren't they? Like the grumpy man desperately wishing for a newer pair of shoes until he meets a happy man with no feet.

    1. Thanks Diedre. Irony does make good humor especially since it is not true.

    1. Karma has a way of biting you in the butt. At least it does for me.

  12. It is tough to be a biker. Like the Bible says, "they shall eat of the fruit of their own way" (Proverbs 1:31)

    1. I agree. You reap what you sow. However, I would hate for someone to be poisoned for being obnoxious. Thanks for visiting.

Your thoughts.

Look out A to Z, I'll be back.

A to Z theme reveal. Well this theme is pretty weak. It is Dogs I have loved, fairy tales, myths, cats birds and what grows in my yard...  ...
